Sitting on a large 3-inch disc, this is an impressive, well-established colony that's ready to become the centerpiece of your reef. This specimen arrived at KushCorals on 8/27/26, and the video was taken on 8/28/26, giving it time to settle in and show off its incredible coloration.
While many hobbyists still call these Bowerbanki, this coral is now classified as Homophyllia bowerbanki. They're one of the most impressive large polyp stony (LPS) corals available, prized for their thick fleshy polyps, hardy nature, and vibrant colors. They thrive in low to moderate lighting, low, gentle flow, and stable water parameters. Occasional feedings of mysis shrimp or other meaty foods can encourage fuller inflation, healthy growth, and even richer coloration.
