Acanthophyllia are one of the most prized large polyp stony (LPS) corals in the reef hobby. They thrive in low to moderate lighting, low, gentle flow, and stable water parameters. Place them on the sand bed or another stable surface where their fleshy tissue won't rub against rockwork. Occasional feedings of small meaty foods can help encourage growth, fuller inflation, and maintain their vibrant coloration.
