If you're looking for a fast-growing, beginner-friendly zoa with killer color, the Oxide Zoanthids are hard to beat. Tim cut this frag about 2 weeks ago, and the video was taken on 8/16/26, so what you're seeing is the actual piece after it had a little time to heal and settle in.
These are one of those zoas that can really take off once they're happy. They do best in low to moderate flow, low to medium light, and stable water parameters. Once established, they'll begin spreading across the rock and can eventually grow into an awesome colony. Zoanthids are one of the easiest corals to keep, making them a great choice for both beginner and experienced reef keepers.
