The Sunfire Fungia Plate burns bright with a fiery golden-orange disc and a glowing center that looks like a miniature sun sitting on your sand bed. Its bold coloration and perfectly defined ridges make it impossible to overlook, whether it's fully inflated during the day or glowing under blue LEDs at night. This specimen arrived at KushCorals on 7/16/26, and the video was taken on 8/16/26, giving it a full month to settle in and show off its incredible color.
Fungia Plate Corals are hardy, free-living LPS corals that thrive in low to moderate lighting, low to moderate flow, and stable water parameters. They're happiest resting directly on the sand bed where they can fully expand without rubbing against rockwork. Occasional feedings of small meaty foods can encourage faster growth, maintain vibrant coloration, and keep the coral looking its best. Healthy Fungia can also recover remarkably well from damage and are known for their resilience.
