Glowing pumpkin-orange coloration, bold patterns, and thick, fleshy tissue make this collector Acanthophyllia impossible to ignore under blue LEDs. This stunning specimen arrived at KushCorals last week on a direct shipment from Indonesia, and the video was taken on 10/1/26, giving it time to settle in and fully inflate before being offered for sale.
Acanthophyllia are among the most sought-after large polyp stony (LPS) corals in the hobby. They thrive in low to moderate lighting, low, gentle flow, and stable water parameters. Place them on the sand bed where their fleshy tissue can fully expand without rubbing against rockwork. Occasional feedings of mysis shrimp or other meaty foods can encourage fuller inflation, healthy growth, and help maintain their rich, vibrant coloration.
